FAQs

What is happening over at The Painted Barn?

The Painted Barn is being renovated. If you have ever visited us you will know we are lucky to have a gem and we didn’t want to lose the character. So we are keeping our 17th century barn beautifully cavernous and will have an artisan cafe at one end and a shop area at the the other.

What is the cafe going to be like?

The cafe at The Painted Barn will be serving great coffees, teas, cakes and simple delights based around The Baker at The Painted Barn’s sourdough breads. In the winter months we will have a wood burner to keep the barn cosy and for the summer months we are creating a sheltered courtyard. Will you still be selling furniture?

The shop area will still be stocking vintage finds and painted furniture, merchandised with a mix of carefully curated lifestyle and home accessories with an emphasis on artisan, craft and locally made.

What is the Dairy building going to be?

The old Dairy is being renovated and transformed into a studio with peace, tranquillity and beauty in mind. Perfect for all things mindful. Large windows with sweeping views over the farms meadows. With a lovely cafe and shop to enjoy after a class or during a day retreat or meeting. The studio will be hired out by the hour, morning or day.

The Dairy will also be offering a peaceful treatment room for hire.

Get in touch with us if the studio or treatment room are of interest to you. https://www.thepaintedbarn.co.uk/contact/
